ALD's Quality Policy is implemented through the Quality Management System, which fully meets the requirements of ISO 9001:2008 .Understanding this is mandatory for all personnel and, in meeting this standard, ALD provides the necessary training to prevent deviations from all defined procedures. Monitoring the Personal Development and Performance of all staff is a key element of this, ensuring every employee, in whatever capacity, can perform his or her work to the highest standards, consistently.
The Company has three main Quality Accreditations:
BS EN ISO 9001:2008 – Quality Management Standard
ALD Automotive is fully committed to providing customers with a first class quality service and it is the company's aim to be considered the benchmark by which quality within our market is compared. The company constantly reviews and develops its business processes to ensure continuous improvement. As part of this commitment ALD gained accreditation to BS EN ISO 9002:1994 originally in 1993. Subsequent transitions were made to BS EN ISO 9001:2000 and, more recently, to the latest and current standard ISO 9001:2008 in April 2009.
ISO 14001:2004 – Environmental Management Standard
ALD Automotive is committed to providing a safe and healthy workplace and, when carrying out its work activities, the company considers the effects on the wider environment to minimise any harmful impact, so far as is reasonably practicable. As part of its commitment to a more sustainable future ALD gained the ISO 14001 standard via the Quality Accreditation body CARS QA in November 2007. ALD has clearly defined objectives and targets which are regularly reviewed in order to maintain and develop the accreditation.
